[Case] Dr. J. W. Cho, successfully advised Seung Hoon Na, a writer famous for his webtoon “Don’t Lose Your Mind (Nohjima Jungshinjul)”, on the intellectual property contract for Chinese and Korean markets with a Chinese big game company LOCOJOY

Seung Hoon Na, a Korean writer famous for his webtoon “Don’t Lose Your Mind (Nohjima Jungshinjul)”, and LOCOJOY, a big game company famous for its mobile game "Master Tanker" in China, signed the intellectual property contracts regarding game characters.

The contracts gave Beijing Locojoy (headquarters in China) and Locojoy International in Korea the right to use Na's characters in Chinese and Korean markets respectively, and the writer Na restored his rights and honor as the original author not only in Korea but also in China.

It is very significant that the agreement was reached only through negotiations without litigation and the rights of a Korean writer was recognized in China.

Dr. Jung Wook Cho, a managing partner of KANGHO Attorneys at Law, advised the writer Na on legal issues, represented him in negotiations and successfully concluded the contracts.
