[Case] Dr. J. W. Cho, successfully represented the victims and achieved the corrective orders against a foreign-affiliated feed company
On November 26, 2018, the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) imposed corrective orders against Cargill Agri Purina in Korea (a large foreign-affiliated feed company) for unfair trade practices (specifically, unfairly taking advantage of one¡¯s bargaining position). The KFTC ordered Cargill not to unfairly penalize its agents by making them to get its prior consent when dealing with its competitors¡¯ products or by prohibiting the handling of its competitors¡¯ products and terminating their agency contracts if they violate it. Dr. Jung Wook Cho, a managing partner of KANGHO Attorneys at Law, represented the agents to report to the KFTC and successfully achieved the corrective orders.
